8EA7BB77-2F7B-4FEB-AE74-ACF3ABD5304B.jpeg Picked up this MS170 with an extra chain and half jug or bar oil for $130.00, looks like new!
While I was there picking it up the guy asked if I wanted some firewood, he had about a truck load of dry maple he wanted to get rid of. Going back in a few days with my trailer to get it!

jdude you did great! You'll love that little saw too. That is the same saw that Gary has given away at our GTG's. I have the 180 which is not much different and I love it. I use it for getting limbs off rather than using the heavier saw and it works great. I like to carry it along too as it is nice for cutting brush and limbs out of the lanes or wherever. It's almost my go-to saw now!

You did very well and for sure have earned the you suck award:).

I use my 170 a lot cutting trails and limbing. The guy at the Stihl dealer asked why I would use it over my 261...pretty much the same but a lot lighter cutting small stuff. He didn’t have much to say after that:).

You can chance the front chain tensioner to a side one by adding the part from a 250. I did it after I bent my front one. No idea how if did it but it happened. Enjoy the new saw and the great deal.
