I picked up new hobby early summer, axe throwing. It is so much fun! My wife even participats. I ended up joining a summer league. There were around 40 people, men and ladies. After 5 weeks I ended up 4th in point standings but only made up 1 out of 3 rounds that I missed while out of town. Probably would have ended up 3rd in standings. Here's the good part. The final day was a double elimination tournament. I did not loose one match and won! Anyone in the Pittsburgh area, you have to give it try!
Nice to have an interesting hobby. Even better if the Wif is on board also! I have made a few throwing axes of my own design as an experiment and can see how one could get into it. Congratulations on your showing in your league!
The late summer/fall league starts up tonight and lasts 7 weeks, 2 weeks longer than the last one. This is the setup that a constructed at camp Saturday morning. 23-4 inch round 12" thick poplar. New table in the right from a cookie and old stump. I put a slight angle on the table top so the water or whatever runs off.
