I'm glad I'm not the only guy who views small amounts of wood as 'x' amount of heat-time. :) Any wood that can produce BTUs and not clog my chimney is good wood

So when I spot a split on the side of the road that fell of someone's truck I'm not crazy for stopping and throwing it in my bed and justifying it by saying "what the hell theirs 25 minutes or so." I do this quite often.

I've even been known to stop and pick up a 2 x 4 that someone lost. Not an 8 footer but still a good 2 x 4. Sometimes it is amazing the things one can come across.
