Try this. A large glass about three quarters full of ice. Add two "healthy" shots of your favorite vodka. (Grey goose, Absolute, Skyy, or better.) Now add water until glass is about 60-70% full. Then fill the rest of the way with your favorite V8 fusion. ( my favorites are Strawberry Banana, Acai mixed berry, Concorde Grape/Rasberry) Now insert straw and ............ Important note: Not V-8 Splash! You see, V-8 Splash is 10% juice. 90 percent crap! Sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc. V-8 Fusion is 100% juice from vegetables and fruits. You get 1 full serving of vegetables and 1 full serving of fruit from every 8 ounces you drink. Now there is a good reason to have another! What? I do, we do, drink it without the vodka as well. I like to mix the V-8 fusion 50/50 with water several times a day. Livens up the taste of the water and gives you something decent for your body as well. No need to thank me. Hey, that's just how I roll.
I like voddy-cran and lime myself, and vodka collins and club soda. Three Olives also has a Tartz vodka now that I like to drink frozen and straight. Its good stuff.
Rum and Coke (Cherry)! Jameson and Ginger Ale! But I will be trying the concoction that Gasi posted.. That sounds good
The strawberry banana is real tasty. Lots of ice in large glass, 2 or 3 shots of vodka first, water, then the juice. Mixes well that way.
A friend of mine is a big Jameson fan. Every once and a great while I will knock one or two shots back with him. Once a year or so he brings some really old Jameson up to his camp. That stuff is smooth. I can't remember how old it is. I want to say 12 or 13 year old stuff. ? C.R.S. kicking in again. LOL
Looks interesting there, might have to go try it. Dont typically drink hard drinks except from November to New Years. I'm usually a beer drinker, by nature. But usually Jack/Jim Bean (Costco's version)/ and Crown Royal (Costco's version) with either Pespi/Coke/Dr. Pepper is what I drink if I drink.
I typically drink beer as well. Only go to the harder stuff occasionally. And not too many then. Ask me how I know to not have too many of those!
