Did you happen to notice that in the back of your picture there appears to be a terrifying Terminator-style mechanical monster with a gaping jaw filled with razor sharp steel teeth?

Did you make it back to the house OK after you took the snapshot? ... Hello?

I don't know, looks an awful lot like it was cut with a chainsaw into convenient sized pieces to me.

I cut one down last year that looked like Tootsie Rolls when it hit the ground.
What a pain to clean up. I burned all the tops right where it landed

I'm thinking you need to soak it in some water...... I read on the internet that firewood can be too dry.......

By chance have you split a piece of that and checked the moisture with a meter. Be had them blow apart when they hit the ground but the moisture is usually higher that I had guessed.

Jeez, I hope you at least told them to stack it on the ground, in the shade, wrapped with a blue tarp all the way to the bottom. Gotta prevent spontaneous combustion ya know....
