The tank does sit down in that hole. On top of the 5" of concrete floor. Not too difficult to install. Toughest part was getting it down in the basement and into the hole. The ports for the plumbing are a little ways up the tank from the bottom and a little ways down the tank from the top. So before we put the tank in the hole we prepared the hole in the bottom of the tank with the plug we wanted. Here are a few picks of the process. It was one heavy son of a gun.

Between completing the bills yesterday, cleaning of the pellet stove and it's chimney pipe, running errands, bringing in wood at the house, and spending some time with wifey and kiddos, the day was gone. Time to get breakfast ready for everyone and hopefully get outside today and do some work!

Headed home today. Taking the wife and oldest boy out tonight for his birthday. I can't believe he's 9 already. Two more days of work after today and I'm off for 10 days.

I have a long list of things to do that week. I'd like to run the saw a bit but if I do it won't be much. Hoping to get the yard cleaned up...garden prepped....change a chitload of oil...work on the kitchen a ton (top priority)...etc.

Working on scripts today. Going to try to do my March and April videos back to back, doing the principle photography together to try to reduce production time.

Good morning, sunshine and blue skies, gonna' be a nice day.
Busted some brush yesterday and came home with a skinny load of hedge apple.
The "windsheer ridge" is pretty tangled up and slower going than what I thought it would be. Slow and safe wins the race!
Even with the old hippie using his compact utility tractor, we don't have room at the top for my old truck, yet. Dragging the logs down results in some dirt and dull chains!! I hate dull chains,,,
Ground a couple chains down to 22 degrees, last nite, hoping to hold an edge a little longer,,we'll see.
Heading out shortly and gonna' make a full day of it. Lots of 2 cycle to burn.
You folks have a good day. Peace.

We have our youngest grandchild to watch today, Hopefully she won't clamp on my paws at they are still a hurting (fell on the ice yesterday, both paws. the hind end, and the side of one knee. Will be heading out later to have x-rays of the right wrist.

Other than bruised and sore I think things are OK but going to make sure.

Yeow Smokey… that's enough of that stuff! And, if you're like most of us… you prolly pulled every muscle you got on the way down, flailing… o_O

I find, the ride down isn't too bad at all… it's that stop at the bottom… As TC said a while back "Welcome to the Hoarders Infirmary" … heal up quick…

Done, minor fracture all splinted and an appointment is being setup for follow up. X-Ray en-route to the next stop. Tetanus booster was had due to cuts and abrasions and the other hand redressed. Taken care of and discharged within one hour.

Well the real fun thing (not) was I went down and didn't wait long enough before I got up, let's just say I don't have high blood pressure so I tend to sort of bounce as well.

No muscle pulls but more than one or two spots got bruised. feels a lot better today. The nurse that gave the shot was great didn't even feel it.

Ever have a visit from vampire (phlebotomist) that just can't seem to find a vein? They search for one by drilling holes.

ETA: Get to see the fracture folks tomorrow at 2:00, same group that fixed me up over 14 years ago when I did the ice thing the last time.
