Right, but knowing Beetle-Kill, he might want to sign up for the procedure just for chits and giggles....
I've had 16 endoscopes and 6 colonoscopys since 2012! Yeah! I feel your pain! I also had esophagus cancer to contend with which was caught early and I beat it. "TRUST ME", it isn't so bad then the alternative. Pushing up daisies doesn't sound like much fun! I have another endoscopy/colonoscopy together coming up in March.
Sorry as I was wishing him luck I saw that someone mentioned Beetle-Kill when I was posting and that's who I thought was getting the scope! Hind (end) sight 20/20 I just should of looked back at the first post to see who this was all about I couldn't remember !
20% of your posts are all about you ripping them! Is this how it's going to be going forward? Welcome to club!
Good luck in March, Dave. My wife has to get about three endoscopes this year. They need to band veins that are enlarged in her esophagus. It takes a few times. Had one done already. She is also a cancer survivor. We know what you mean about the alternative.
It turned out to be no big deal. The anesthesiologist was cool and accommodated my request to be completely knocked out before anyone looked at my @$$. Next thing I knew, the doctor is showing me a photo of a small polyp that was removed. It was awesome as they pump your intestines full of air and I got to blast epic farts for about 20 minutes after waking up. No dietary restrictions and after discharge, I ate two double cheeseburgers. Food good, no food bad.
See, I don't remember having gas/farts last year when I went thru this. Maybe it's a guy thing? Maybe since I was seeing a super special sub-specialist who was much better than ya'll'z doc? Maybe it is my selective memory (which usually only remembers bad things)?
