    Yep. I'd ask myself.

    Some of that wood will be good for years to come. Some may be pinky (bottom), but that depends what it is. The log/round on the farthest left, sure does have some THICK bark. That may be worth looking into :)

    I have a neighbor that did that with a honey locust. Sat in the yard from spring- winter and slowly started disappearing.

    What a bummer ! It always amazed me when I would get the evil eye from someone after asking. Last year a guy threatened to call the cops if I even bumped his pile on the way out. When I asked he instantly got enraged ! O well some people have a thorn up there :whistle:
