Decided to bring one of the tubs of wood close to the porch today. Dang it was cold out there with the wind howling...

Don't really know. This is the first time we've used them and I haven't even measured them to see how much they hold.

I take no credit for these. Our friend from down under, leoht is the originator of these. In addition, some good friends showed up one day to help us out after I got out of the hospital. (Notice too they were a hungry and thristy bunch!) That good guy on the far right, Redneck is the one who brought the totes and put them together.

The guys did a bunch of work, thanks guys, and filled those totes and brought them near the house because I would not be able to handle the wood for a while which left the work to my lovely wife, the ornery one! Just wanted to make it so it was not too much work for her as she also had to handle the stove duties. She had done a wonderful job of it too.

That's Barcroftb using the tractor. The one he is putting on the pallet is the one I moved today. Also, Barcroftb, let it be known I did move that thing without no ballast on the rear but we had taken some wood from the front. It was no problem and the rear of the tractor did not even feel light.

8-12 inches of snow forecasted here for Thursday/Friday. I moved wood today to top off my rack just out the door on the deck, and loaded up a 2 wheel log dolly that I'll move indoors Wednesday evening. Bring on the snow!

Now, the 16 below temps forecasted for Friday/Saturday nights, we'll, that can move out as soon as it can.

Those totes do make moving your wood around pretty easy. Thinking ahead.

Getting set up pretty good .

    Gotta keep upgrading , still
    burning “x” amount of wood,
Get set up to where it’s still doable.

Good to see some reasonably flat ground. Around here, there is NONE. Everywhere is a hill, you are either going up or going down.
