Honda Engine Age

    I have a GX 270 Honda engine and need to know how old it is. The model # is QA26, and the serial # is GCAJT-1025576. I'm wanting to put electric start on it so I can start it in cold weather and I need to know the year of manufacture. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Thanks Horkn, already been there. Can't find manufacture date anywhere. I'll keep looking or maybe someone else will have an idea.

    It might not be publicly published, but the number you have means something to someone’s database. Try some Honda customer service email addresses? Keep the question simple and direct and you’ll be most likely to get a useful reply.
