ive been watching him since summer velvet... Im not a facebook member but can peep in on some of the public groups that are hunting related. Had a buddy confirm the guys location based on a response to the thread.... Oh well I guess... I was right, they slip in the cold...
Social media is good for finding stuff like that. There’s a few places I always watch and a local butcher that posts pics is one of them. The buck I was focused on last year I found in a picture from that butcher. I watched that deer from mid summer through November. He was there every night, finally started getting daylight pictures and started hunting him. Then a week later I see a picture of him at the butcher. And to top it off I know who the hunter is. So I called him and he told me that the deer showed up on his land three days earlier, wow. I watched that deer all year and he left for three days and gets shot. But that’s what the rut can do. Ended up the deer was about a mile away from my land.
