My two grandsons and I hauled a few loads yesterday from the honey hole. Most of what we got was pignut with a little walnut. I probably have 2 more loads cut and ready to haul but I've found if I limit the time I work the boys the more willing they are to help. I finished one pile of pig nut and the 20171211_101445.jpg next pile of tops will be white oak.

Looks real good.....I have some 4 year seasoned pignut and shagbark on deck for the cold part of winter.

There is a little shagbark tops where I'm cutting but not a lot and it's not real easy to get at, but I'll get it.

Firewood gold. Those should make some great future BTU's.
