what do you think is going in here. Wonder if it’s eirgh taking a look at. What’s the difference between the mother board and the power board
Hmmm....I believe to power board is part of the control board on those and they are expensive as you can see. What are they asking for it? Might be worth the gamble if you can get it super cheap but definitely I would tread lightly with it...imo I stand corrected....there looks to be a separate power supply from the board itself.....also expensive.
Cheapest I've seen is $225, in all places, Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Quadra-F...4388&wl11=online&wl12=649885313&wl13=&veh=sem
They are two separate parts. The power supply changes the 120v to 12v for fans etc, and 120 for the igniter. The control board runs the stove. I would also find out what year stove it is, and what revision control board they put in it, and if it has a matching wall control. And it blows my mind that Wally World has Quad parts. kap
I've purchased a few things from Clearview...they ship quickly and typically have reasonable pricing.
It’s 2006. Not a good year for the mt Vernon from what I’m reading. He’s asking $1000 but ad also suggests he just wants it gone and is open to offers
IMO....there would be NO WAY I'd be anywhere near that price but that's just me. It's a very early AE too, they also had regular non AE Mt. Vernon's in '06.
Yeah I wouldn’t be anywhere near his asking price especially for a non working stove. We’ll stew on it a while longer and see what shakes
My stove is a 2006. Main issues with the stove was getting the upgrades, which mostly entailed a new control board and matching wall control. And an upgraded firepot. kap
