    Makes me feel better!

Most the manzanita isnt worth the trouble. I had a gal who wanted it, but figuring a price based on my time would never work out. Northern ca is wonderful for the most part. I was born and raised in Redding. So many great hunting, fishing, camping spots within a hour or so.

Oaks, Digger Pine, and Manzanita?? Sounds like the Western Slope of the Sierra, around 2,000' in elevation? I grew up in Grizzly Flats, between Highways 50 and 88, right at the 4,000' level...I love that area, and my folks still live there.
