thanks all sioux falls sweet we bang sams club about once a month im north east of brookings for tools
362 c-m stihl with a 20" bar I told the boss (aka my wife) time for a 880 shes like last year you just got the 362 and im like chain saws are like guns u cant ever have too many ;-) I was thinking of black fridaying one and getting running's bucks on it well see . then I have the stihl 2 in 1 fileing too that's pretty slick if you haven't tried one .
back up saw aka first one I had sense 07 a poulan pro 42cc with the 18" bar sharpen with a dremel cut the rakers with a hand file.
hand maul is the estwing fireside axe 14" works great
a few good friends let me use there splitter when ever I need but im trying not to split any thing this year I did the last 2 winters and my stove is bad azz that I can put big chunks in it so only trimming this year has been with the saws well see.
I got really lucky at the end of this summer we had a few big storms and the big rounds came from a tree service. it was closer and cheaper for them to dump at my house then hit the land fill so blamo I got 8 dump trailers in the yard. the lord really does work in mysterious ways. the same friends I can get the splitter from let me get off there pile (they run geo for the most part ) so I load up my trailer and make it happen, other wises im hunting when im out or surfing cl to make stuff happen.
keep all the great tips coming guys

Yep I know what you mean. There is not much for trees around here either. But word does get around and I sometimes get dead trees from neighboring farmers.
    Welcome to the club.
