It finally arrived today. And had plans of installing on my 044. But thanks to Devin86, I have another MS 460 that will be here tomorrow. It will be going on it.

Already ordered some nice parts for the MS 460. Caber rings are 1st on the list. For $14 they are well worth it. Delete base gasket and you gain a fair amount of compression over stock.

Will wait till I see it before I order anymore plastic, wrap, etc.. But I am excited!!

The Sugi is only a Hard nose, but it should suffice. :)

The MS361 will most likely wear one of those or a cannon by the time I am finished with it. Make sure and keep us updated on how you like the bar? Thanks again.

I had an older 31" Sugi sprocket nose 3/8 .063 gauge that came with my Mac 125C in April.Bar was repainted, sprocket nose was wore out & needed replaced.Didnt really need the bar anyway since I was looking for a vintage late '60's .404 rollernose as a replacement.I looked & looked for a new sprocket nose w/ rivets but finally gave up.Stripped all that battleship grey paint off the bar, gave it a wipe with WD-40 & sold it for $40 on Ebay in July.Buyer mustve had better luck getting a new nose, cause he was very pleased with it even as a "project"

They & Cannon are considered the finest bars you can buy, almost a throwback to the super hard wearing ones sold back in the day....

Well, I mounted it today. I took the 16" off the 395XP and put the Sugi on...

Looks a little better, but I still need a 24" or 28" to make this thing look like it means business.

Oops. Forgot pics of the spacers..

This bar will fit over 100 saws. Just have to use the appropriate spacer (comes with several sets). For Husq you use the Yellow Spacers.

Light weight bar that has no paint. The white pieces are inserts to reduce weight.

Lots of Manufacturers try to hide imperfecrions, rivets, etc. This shows the true beauty.

Plus the name sounds Cool :)

Since there are not a lot of Samurai around these days, all those Japanese sword makers had to do something with their time...... :p

Dex, have one on my Ms 460 , love it ! Mounted a 28 techlite on the 395xpg . But it' s just arrived at the house ,and I can get home 'til late tomorrow to try it out butchering a few logs .Pretty sure I'm going to get a 24 " Sugihara to go with the Xpg as they are really well made and reasonably light . But , first the XPG has to go to the Master minds shop of porting !
I know the rules ! No pics .... Didn't ever happen ! So, I'll take a few of the before ,and then the afters . And send them all in one post .Y'all will just have to be patient !:smoke:
