    Hello
Englander Error # 2 - failure to start within 20 mins!
No Vacuum! Will this stove ever work again?
The studs that hold the blower mounting tab rusted off! The bolts holding the exhaust housing on were rusted solid! The impeller Blades were completely disintegrated!!
So we tore off most of the housing and got out the air cutter! The new housing fit over the small stubs left from cutting the heads off and new holes had to be drilled for new stainless steel self tappers!!! I broke 2 drill bits and wore out a new drill bit! So at lunch we bought new 1/8” titanium drill bits at lowe’s! Tough job but we did a better job than the last guy who put the wire ties in to hold the blower on! LOL The 1st pic is how I found the stove after removing the exhaust blower cover on the left side!
The hood on the vent cap should have been pointed downward so water could not rain in!!!
    See pics

We found out during many years of racing, cobalt bits are the best in the long run. Not too much you can't drill with them. More $$ initially, but cheaper down the road.
    What are cobalt drill bits?

I ahve never seen damage like that on a pellet stove. Looks more like the underside of a 1970 Dodge!

Another reason may be that the stove has been running at too low a temperature. This can cause condensation which can be far more acidic than straight water.
Grain burning is worse, I have seen the powdercoating eaten off carport rafters after 2 seasons where a stove has been exhausted incorrectly.

Owner neglect more than weather in my opinion. If you cant take care if it yourself then you shout definitely be having someone doing it for you. Still blows my mind that it got this bad before anyone opened up the back of the stove

Out of sight, out of mind.....until things just stop. Then, whatever it is, the owner will exclaim " what a big piece of chit!!!"

Maintenance is key to keep things operating the way they should. Looks like that blower was never looked at since it the stove was installed. Nice job reviving it

It was not till the Error 2 That showed on the control panel that flagged it. Error 2 is just failure to fire up in 20 min. !!!!
