Art telling a story

    Most artistic work is a story being told. I can only imagine what story is being told with this work of art. I know some stories it is telling me.

    That reminds me of a friend I used to work with; a big burly biker dude that was going through a tough time. He had just lost his 2 year old grandson to a pool drowning death, then his wife had breast cancer. I was passing him on a cat walk while building ships and felt this urge to say something. I knew it was God prompting me, but this guy was a big, burly biker dude! In the end I just said, "Hey George, I wanted you to know I have been praying for you the last few weeks."

    A big smile went across his face and he said, "That is great, another believer!" and we were good friends until I retired.

    Thanks for the lesson God, even the toughest men can hurt.
