Thank you sir!! As for the tower we saw that this morning pretty darn cool!! I'll have to see when and what our plans our as for coming home because I would always like to meet a fellow hoarder :handshake:. As for Florida we are in Lakeland and there's plenty of brush piles and lumber down from Irma

It gets ridiculous hot in July and August, but the sustained heat and humidity of central Florida where you are is just oppressive.
As far as hoarding, it's just planning for 3 months worth of burning. Dec-February, by March it's already starting to think about spring.
I lived in Florida back when I got out of college, and it didn't take long to leave. The Temps down there are hot, or hotter. Walking out to get your newspaper on Christmas morning in bare feet and shorts is just wrong, haha. If you have the money to live on the ocean it's one thing, but inland was too hot for me!

1100 miles, northern Kentucky to Fort Pierce, Florida to cut 2 palm trees and 1 pine for my late mother. No hoarding from this, just tree work. I don't care much for cutting palm trees....

The trees really seem to have an odd growth pattern to them. Twists and turns as they have grown. It that from damage over the years?
Too bad you have to take them out. Doesn't look as though there is much shade for a ways.

The twists and such could be from all the storms, but all the trees are like that down here it seems like they just grow funny. Haven't laid saw chain to them yet so there's still a chance at them staying up. Just drove around a bit and Irma laid down some serious :woodsign: we should have a GTG down here and help out. :smoke:

Be careful of what you cut in So. Florida; some trees are protected and you can be fined for cutting them down.

Thanks for the warning:handshake: I was concerned about the neighborhood rules and also the fact that in searching for the species I noticed some poisonous varieties:eek:

It may only be certain Palms that are illegal to cut down. I forget now; I read a lot and sometimes the details get lost over time. Yes, some trees have oils that will cause a rash much like poison oak/ivy.
