Isn’t that why they make covered porches? I’ve never found any other use for my porch than to hold firewood.

Long before I was on the three-year plan, my hearth has been on the three-day plan.

    Works for me.

From last winter. Reloading the rack I keep on my deck. From there, into the stove, just beyond that door. The rack holds about 1/3 cord.

It's not a covered deck, so, there's a piece of salvaged roof rubber that gets draped over the wood.

It is nice to have the wood and stove, all on one floor, not far from each other. I don't like to store much indoors. I try to keep the mess and any critters outside.

If there's a storm/blizzard in the forecast, then I'll load this 2-wheeler and roll it right through that door and feed the stove right from it.

I don't have a covered porch so I put the wood in these, made out of pallet wood, on the back deck

It's nice to have the wood close to the stove. We too put wood on the porch. I just threw together a small rack and put a cover on it. 2 or 3 steps from the stove to get wood. It works nicely.
