    Stink bug, they smell pretty bad if you touch it or smash one. They are pretty invasive to some crops and plants.

    Definitely a stink bug, know the shape well because they are everywhere here too.
    Only difference from ours and that one is color....and yours looks armored??

    Makes me wonder this year we have a lot of hive grasshoppers too! Bigger than I have seen in a long time.

    Interesting! I have saved bugs from the fire a few times but I will admit if they are in there after it's roaring well I can only do so much before I start letting heat out and the bugs are on their own :whistle:

    Insects have been bad this year, seems like every species of them have been noticeably enhanced. Horse flies have been off the charts this year. never had a problem with them but you can't go outside without them biting you. They hurt too. My poor dog hides from them. Skeeters have been worse this year. We had a mild winter last year, we need a cold one with snow on the ground for a while, but we rarely get that anymore.

    We noticed an increase in them last year but there does not seem to be any more this year than last.
