    Does the auger need pellets to start. We cleaned it all out and still not moving

    as we mentioned before, you probably have to connect the 2 stat connections together if you didn't get a one yet. Otherwise, the control board thinks you're not calling for heat.
    If you want to make sure the auger motor is working, try making a power "jump" lead to put 120V to the motor directly. Make sure stove is unplugged before you do that, and remove the power connections from the auger motor first too. A lot of us have made something like this out of an old lamp cord to do testing of auger motors, blowers, etc:

    Also, if the front door isn't sealed (broken or missing glass), there is probably a vacuum switch that won't close to turn the auger on.....hence the need for the power jumper I mentioned above.
    Most pellet stoves have this saftey feature so the stove won't continue to feed pellets if the door is left open or there is a large vacuum leak. The exhaust blower must cause a low pressure in the firebox to allow the auger to run.
