High temp cement recommendation?

    You can use that or some gasket. We've used flat gasket and round. Works great!

    Regular woodstove gasket, graphite. You can find the flat weaved style or thin round and work it around the pipe or push it into the gap with a flat head. Furnace cement works just as well. Just another option.

    I used the rutland light brown furnace cement, kinda like clay, for my NC30 collar.

    Same here, but it crumbles after a while. Clean, reapply.

    Yes it does. I tend to bang/tap my flue every so often to listen for debris falling and usually get the rain of cement flakes from all of the furnace cement that is crumbling out of the joints. I might try a dab of copper RTV next time instead.
