    I'll bring a big heap into the garage usually at the end of October, possibly earlier if the weather calls for it.

    As a rule our first fire usually doesn't happen until mid October end even then, only if the nights dip down low enough.

    I'm soft , - 7 in Iceland windchill of -15 is more normal for you . Think my blood would have frozen without all the gear on .

    I used to like the cold but now it seems below 20 and it is cold enough for me. However, the colder weather is nice if there is no wind but that rarely happens. With the cold comes the wind and even a 10 mph wind drives the cold into your bones.

    At -7ÂșC I am in sweater weather if I am active and moving. If I am standing still that is quite a different matter. Then I need a winter jacket even when it is that warm.
