Wife wanted table for front porch.

No Squirrels but lots of Rabbits. Cotton tails.
The Occasional Fox, a few Coyotes, and lots of birds.

 

Didn't have the heart to cut this once I'd taken bark off, sanded and polished by hand and now lives next to the sofa

Looking good. How many hours went into hand sanding all those curves?

I'll bet - I've got a couple pieces of red maple heart wood that split out beautifully. Going to do them up like that over the winter when I'm looking for something to do other than load the boiler and move snow. I think they may wind up as lamps for the kids' rooms.

 

Yep that would keep that Wyoming wind for moving it around.
