Dawn's car had a decent pull to the left. Switched out front brakes, a rotor, caliper, and had it aligned today.

We still have a slight pull to the left. Tires are pretty close on air pressure, what else am i missing? Gear box? Its a '99 Subaru impreza outback. Would like it safe since son will be driving soon.

Does the car shake or pull at all speeds or at a specific speed

Did the guy who did the alignment inspect the ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, and other components or did he just align it and take your $? Maybe he forgot to recenter the steering wheel?

How good is your air gauge? A couple lbs can make a difference.

Could also be wind or crown in the road.

Doesn't shake, the steering wheel did prior to having the work done. Pulls harder at 50mph+

This was just a tire place who recommended an alignment while i had new snow tires put on, i didn't though. They only "align" per the paperwork i got "after" the job was done, no added jobs or modifications. (how convenient :loco: ) I will add Dawn hit a nasty pot hole and blew the side wall a month and a half ago. We got a new studded tire, balanced, etc. Small dent in rim, but holding air.

Pull the dented rim off and put on the spare see if problem goes away. If so need new rim.
Had similar issues last year had to replace two rims. When i bent the third on gave up and replaced the factory rims with steel rims and hub caps have not bent a rim or had issues with front end like i did with factory rims

Ill know for sure in a few weeks when i swap the summer tires and rims back on. Unfortunately the spare tire is a little doughnut.

Rim is probably wasted but the tireshop should have caught that. Keywords.... Should have. If its found to be bad, I would also examine any other wheels that hit the same pothole for cracks, bends, etc.

If the summer wheels still pull left, it's time to get the front end looked at.

If you have a floor jack, Jack up 1 front side at a time and see if there is play by shaking the tire. Place hands at 3 and 9 o'clock and move back and forth.

Then do same with hands at 12 and 6.

Make notes of which direction anything moves and where your hands were placed when it moved and report back.

You may have a bad brake hose, I thought I had a bad caliper on my plow truck, it ended up being a collapsed brake hose.

Be careful with the car pulling like that it will definitely add wear to your tires and front suspension. A couple of weeks can and will add a lot of stress to your front end. Causing unneeded wear and safety issues if the rim is bent or cracked and it finally breaks apart or causes the tire to go flat. I had a tire blow out on the drivers front a couple of years ago i rolled the truck over several times after i lost control of all steering when it blew.
Not trying to sound all doom and gloom but just be very careful.

    Fall air :)

Ill try this over the weekend! Thx:)

All the time over 50mph. Since having the work done and the alignment, the pull is just slight now.
