hej hej all, Just taking some pics of the last days building more dryingracks and filling them up. Hope u all came out of the winter warm. ( i know i did) Well short post, have a nice day all!
Looks good. But I have to ask is it me or are your splits really small? Some look like very small branches and others not much larger.
You win this years award for Nostalgia stove thats a Beautiful stove! Im green with envy and your stacks are tiptop!
Yes, love your stove and a great job with the wood racks; both building and filling. Looks like you're almost snow free now. Fortunately we are snow free here but looks like we've started the wet season. Hoping we don't have a long wet season this year.
Last year the shady places where full of snow till juni. Here some more pics of the old stove ( for al u stove junkys) i think it was put in the house around 1950 , the house it self is about 130 years old.
Man I love that! That's something that is often tossed out because someone wants the nice stainless steel. Functional all around as it gets used for cooking and heating. You make it hard to have me keep my existing stove!
Wow thanks I knew there was a good reason for all the small splits. That stove brings back great memories of spending time on Nashawena island we had no electricity no gas. My aunt cooked and heated with wood. Good times for sure.
