Lost juice here too. Haven't started a fire yet but will soon. Not getting any warmer but the wind is dying down.
No doubt there is a shortage of bread n milk in MI tonight. Everybody runs to the stores and buys bread n milk when TCHTF. It feels good to be prepared, huh Dennis?!
Wind is bad here trashed the metal shed behind my garage. And 1/2 the front side of the roof shingles are gone. So much for the new house. Just glad i had a home warranty put on the house at closing. Looks like the roof is totally destroyed what shingles that are left are loose and flopping in the wind. To dark for pictures tonight mabye tomorrow
Another day of way too much wind here also. Had to be very careful which direction you were facing while going outside.....
The emoticon at the end of your post might also suggest you got it in your eye? Wait.....what were we talkin about?

Wow y'all are getting hammered. NC is relatively calm but I sure hope y'all can pull through without too much much damage. Sounds like some wicked wind about like a hurricane. Everyone be safe out there T2 Tappin'
At 3am I got awakened by powerful gusts of wind. That's saying something since I was sleeping on the couch and the P43 was doing it's thing not 5-6' away from me. Don't know if there was any damage, and won't know until late Friday afternoon since I won't get home until about 9 tonight and leave the house way before the sky dawn in the morning. However, I didn't hear anything that sounded bad and kept power - so I'm good . Sorry some of the rest of you got damage! High temp was 42 (at 3:30am) - supposed to do nothing but go down from there. Saturday's high will be in the teens. 5-8" of snow forecast for next Tues-Wed.
I live in the city and the neighbor a couple doors down was burning a small bonfire in the backyard. Hmmmmmm. It is a long back yard, not near any buildings and right next to a very small lake. A short while later the police and Fire Department were there (fire was not out of control but I suppose someone called in the Fire Dept). Looks like they wrote him a citation and they brought in the brush truck and extinguished the flames. Fire Departments were running ragged all day.
I had heard 87 at the airport haha just goes to show how each person it passes through must add and mph. Either way I'd believe either we were out in it all day and last night definitely had a few self soiling moments if you know I mean back at it again today and probably the next few days trying to keep the lights on. Yesterday was a loss as fast as we could hang stuff up it was coming right back down today we ought to make some good progress though. We just went through this last week but this was MUCH worse. Last week I lost 3 or 4 shingles.....yesterday..... half the roof is in the front yard!
