    Another 20 minutes worth of work with Mr. Fiskars on a new load from the same location. Still have 3x this waiting to be split. Thought it was more important to "gather/scrounge" than to split today!!

    Gosh if I had to guess it was going to be a fruit tree but if you split plum that isnt that big, it should be really dark in the middle. That purple is short lived and it becomes brown like walnut. Its a gorgeous color but you can't save it unless its a picture! Definitely worth the smoking wood like someone uttered here.
