Yesterday the girlfriend and my parents went for a ride. Had to swing by the saw shop for a couple things. As I'm talking to the owner, my girlfriend comes up to me and asks what saw she should buy. I just kind of looked at her funny and said all orange. She says no, I was brought up a Stihl girl. He father, uncle and brother are all loggers and are die hard Stihl folk! Well she decides she wants to buy a saw. I figured since it's awesome enough she wants a saw of her own, I'll let her buy a Stihl. So she bought herself a little MS 170. Yes, I know, the Christmas lights are still up! Last night she told me it had to sleep in the house instead of the garage. Fair enough, I've done that with several new saws!
Mine all have a bed in the basement since my wife gets mad if they leak bar oil on her clean sheets.......
That's awesome!!! I wish my wife wood want anything to do with saws or firewood. She won't even be outside with one running. And my 2 year old daughter cries every time I pick one up. I'm glad you don't have that problem. Now she has a saw, put that girl to work!
My wife's been threatening to learn how to use our 170 for a couple years now but hasn't followed through. You guys will have lots of fun out there growing the wood piles!
Mine too. I think he goofed up on telling her to get a 170 though. He should have told her she "needed" a MS880.
