my wife and I decided to switch from coal to wood this past fall. So we bought a hearthstone wood stove. Love it, planning on getting a second one for main living area. Soooooo anyways I start by collecting standing dead back in October, split it dry it before winter Stacked all nice and pretty. Well I've been collecting all winter, I find myself looking every time we go for rides , on my way to work etc. been cutting, hauling, splitting ever since Seems like that's all I want to do anymore lol My wife says maybe I'm starting to develope some kind of addiction. I say nah. No way it's firewood. But honestly I think I am. So I google firewood hoarders for kicks and giggles. Well to say the least I was shocked and amazed, and pleased to find out that a lot of people seem to suffer from what I've been feeling lol Thanks for the add. Doug

It's neither an addiction nor an affliction, it's a predelection (a preference or affection). Let's all get it straight!! :-D. Lol.
It's a lifestyle. Welcome aboard Doug! Normal? Hmmm......that's what we think we are. No suffering, just enjoyment. Carry on, You're doing it right, but pics would prove it.
