If you have the time watch this video. Unless you speak German you won't be able to understand but you get the idea of what he's trying to say. I personally think it's quite comical. Can anyone tell me what he maybe doing wrong? :headbang:

I think the guy who made this 'how to use a saw' video has never watched a video on how to use a saw. Not a safety feature in sight either! Hand guard? Mitt? Chaps? ... common sense?

I like where he speeds up the video and the saw looks like is actually cutting at a reasonable speed

The saw is blowing dust, instead of chips. And, he's really pressing down hard with it. Egads!!

The reason you need to keep it that loose is so you can put it back on without wasting time messing with the adjuster or having to loosen the bar nut. :hair:

You notice he never lays the saw sideways to fall a tree. Wouldn't stay on long there or limbing out a tree. I guess there are those kinds of people everywhere and we don't own a monopoly on them here in the States. Kind of feel sorry for the saws and equipment he has. Here is one of my favorites.

I always liked how they have put safety first and have 2 buckets in the air so you have options not to hit the ground.

The ladder in the bucket! Brilliant! Before I started using my bigger saw I looked up YouTube chainsaw compilations. Funny and frightening at the same time. Made me a safer operator.

This just proves why Stihl saws are the toughest saws made :saw::p. He said something about power.. maybe he keeps the chain loose so it acts like a slipper clutch and doesn't rip it out his hands.

That's one of my personal favorites as well.

I like the use of the safety vest too. I mean, that whole contraption just became 50 times safer since Tim down below has his hi viz vest on. :picard:
