What a day this has been, Lost my car key. One of those electronic keys that cost a lot to replace. My other key would start the car, but the automatic door lock didn't work. Called the traveling locksmith. He couldn't fix the key I had, Key was $125 to replace. I wanted two, so he did them for $200. When I went back into the house, my lab wanted out to visit the key guy. I tried to hold her back, but she bolted and knocked me over. Now my back hurts like heck. Tires and keys this week for the car. Last week it was registration and excise tax. :makeitrain":pain: Yup, it has been a week to forget. Time for a "beverage" and then a nap.

    Hi all,

New to the forum, I have been burning Hamers for the past 3-4 years to heat my house during the winter months. I have a Quadrafire MT Vernon and The past few years these have been great, produce consistent heat mainly b/c they were very uniformly sized, i.e. Nothing longer then inch and I NEVER had a complaint.........they Never caused a jam since I started using......however Skip to the to the few tones I purchased this year and and seems Hammers QC fell way offf....I find on average pellets that are 1.5 to 3 inch's and My stove jams once every other day.....now these are sold as premium pelets, and they cost as such.......just wanted to see if anyone else noticed these pellets being non uniform now?

Going to be placing a call to my distributor and possibly the manufacturer.....

Welcome Emerson. Think you are on the right path. If those pellets are really so long they are jamming your stove into a shutdown, then you have grounds to get them replaced. Tell your store about it, they should sort you out in short order. If not, escalate it until you get satisfaction.
