Thats the idea. Keep it to the south of me!!! Thank you! You ended up with more snow than we did today.
We got nuthin'. Was supposed to snow tomorrow, but they changed the forecast to rain. Not that I'm complaining.
Started snowing at 4:30 and its 4 hours later. 15 to 20 mph wind, 6-8 inches of snow. 1/2 mile visibility at best. 20 mph and only know where you are on the road when you hit rumble bars.
Got stuck twice in 100 yards. Shoveled for a half hour to get out. And yet my work makes a call that when I get in I may be the only one there....guess what! Snow day, you can kiss by big fat cracker posterior. This was what I woke up to. For reference the shovel handle is on my patio and it is a 5 foot tall shovel.
Update.....Snow plows pulled. 14 degrees. 14 inches of snow in last 12 hours. Sustained wind 38 mph gusts to 46 mph. Basically the state is shut down. Small town west of us is without power and crews can't be sent due to 0 visibility on highways. I'm in a protected spot and can barely see 100 yards. Coffee n cookies today with 100 percent chance of nap!
Yeah, everyone keep safe. Saw on Fox this morning the pipeline protesters in ND were ordered home by a judge because of 50+ miles an hour wind, multiple feet of snow and -21°f wind chill. The reporter walked from shelter into the wind to show how bad it was and his first words were Oh, Chit! Gotta love live TV.
Top pic the county road crew shop is behind the fence you see between the garage and camper and I can hardly make it out. Bottom pic is my opposition to winter and I will have fires to sit around just on a nicer day. The trees you can barely make out in background are 200 ft away for visibility reference.
Greenstick We'll be getting that starting tomorrow. Already have the temps dropping and the wind. Lake effect will kick ion on Wed. (No mention of staying home here, though....)
