Cool! Not sure I totally get it but my husband was cracking up about it all night, and asked me to share it here Ok I will, the ol man already turned in, but it was pretty funny how much enjoyment he got out the "Rocky Balboa" moves in that clip
Yep Roos are mostly peaceful yet very powerful animals, but if provoked they can be quite vicious. Check out this link I found it quite funny although true. Kangaroo attacks - attacks by kangaroos in Australia Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saw the vid on TV this morning. Funny stuff. Never knew they had hands like ours and with huge claws.
That roo woulda been beech slapped with a 120gr PBT Hornady and on my neighbors hog roaster in 20 minutes had that happened in my hood.
yup roos are quite docile ... but if they want to get mean there back legs have claws that will mess you up! think Freddy Krueger. . when in Aussie.. met a guy that a red grabbed and hit with his back feet.. darn near killed him... so I bet that Australian was trying to scare him off by raising his hands ... and keeping hand in front to slap roo front paws away... as they try to grab and then nail you with back feet! And roo meat is fantastic.. like it far better than beef or venison..
While I was in the Navy (yeah, here comes a sea story) a close buddy from Chicago was messing with a guys kangaroo that the guy had brought into a bar...(imagine that...we were in a bar and drinking was involved) He kept warning Rick to stop messing with the roo, but Chicago wasn't one to back down, I guess. That Kangaroo stood up just like the one in the vid and kicked ol Rick and sent him through a couple table and chair sets! Pretty wild! Thanks for posting and the memories!!!
you had to go and put a damper on it I saw the unedited version last night - good old interwebs round the world in under 24hrs
Even so.. if you listen close enough you can hear his yarbels clanging together when he runs up to the roo.
ya got to try some.. Roo are often road kill and considered almost a nuisance in populated areas.. not a white meat and not a red either... kind of a pink meat.. tender and great grilled much better than mutton anot her AUS.. staple!
Roos can attack cars to (Warning explicit language) And a near miss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
