And then a quick trip to town to get beer and some drugs for a bad tooth ache and top off the indoor wood storage before the weather gets bad.
I always enjoy your video's! Thanks for posting them! If I might make a suggestion for your shotgun. Pick up a HiViz Snapon Sight for a plain barrel shotgun. It will come with 4 lightpipes/fiber optic whatevers. 2 green and 2 red. I have one myself, but reviews said they kept flying off. With that, I took some high temp glue that I had left over from installing a new door gasket on my wood stove and used that for the adhesive. I just lined up the pipe with the little bead at the end of the barrel (there is a little notch at the end of the snapon thing) and pressed it into place and chose the red pipe. I went a bit further using a Site Mark Laser bore sighter to see where exactly the buckshot or slug would go. Then I glued the green pipe on top of the red one. Those pipes come in two different styles. I used the one with the fat end for the base, cut off a little of the green one and glued the skinny one on top with some e6000 glue. (using tape to hold it where I wanted and to give the glue time to set) Using just the base with the red pipe does bring the sight a bit higher, but still not all that accurate. With the green one on top of the red, it's right on at 50 yards. When I'm lining up for the shot, if I see any red, I'll likely be a bit high, but when I see only the green pipe, whatever I'm shooting will drop. I'm not going to say it will work as well for you as I may not have explained it well enough, but it might be worth a shot!
