    well, if you're chopping away and the tree is going to fall on the tracks with 150 blows and there is a train approaching doing 40mph three miles away - should the engineer brake or shovel in some more coal so as to avoid the tree ?

    That is any easy one. You better keep shoveling coal. There is no way he will get in 150 blows in 4.5 minutes.

    I have a few good books and have read a lot of information at different sites such as the National Forest and they all refer to the sights on a saw but I have no idea of what
    your talking about when comes to the handle. Also not all handles a made the same. Some are full wrap and some do have their bends done differently.
