My Super Cedar order has arrived, at work though, so I'll get them on Monday. So with the 2 year amount of crumbs left aka pixie dust, I put some in some muffin cups, and into the stove. Pictures to prove below.

This my second year using Super Cedars and I really do like them. I ordered a box of 72 in the fall but haven't even got into them yet as I had about 10 left. Should be set for awhile.

I ordered 100 last year, and maybe have used 20, if that. When needed, they are great. Beats trying to deal with a difficult start with newspaper.
Just ordered 100 more, with the superbowl discount of 14%. I will now have enough to last my lifetime. A nice thing to have out of the way and never worry about. Very small storage space for much convenience.

Poor Thomas is no doubt feeling it this year with all the cold weather. That means less use of the super cedars because not many having to start cold stoves. I wonder how his new project is doing? Anyone heard? Maybe I'll PM him and ask.

I bet its the other way around. I would think colder weather = more people burning wood in everything. Fireplaces, wood stoves, etc. I bet sales of everything stove and stove related are going up.
This little secret of ours is getting more and more popular.

I use the dust in the bottom of my Super Cedar container. When all the pieces are gone I just dribble the dust in a pile and light. When all the dust is gone I break some more Super Cedars into quarters. I don't skimp on Super Cedars. They make life a lot simpler and when I run low I call Thomas! Love his product.

Yes, I'm cheap, and too many cold starts with a Jotul insert and lazy me in the middle of the night.

It has been a long times since we've used one. But, I gave 2 more away yesterday. I carry some in my car and whenever I get to talking to someone, out comes the Super Cedars. I even explain how we use them and how they can get hold of Thomas.
