Its still hot down here in Florida. Miserable really. But that hasn't stopped me from getting some cutting in. Today my youngest and I built a new rack to fill up. Funny how more capacity = more motivation when it comes to firewood. Hopefully over the next few days I will crank up the splitter and fill this one up.

Looks good. How much do you use for heating during the year?

We don't heat with wood. Heck last year we used our fireplace maybe 3 or 4 times. But that was before I discovered how much I enjoy cutting, splitting, stacking. Wife thinks I am crazy...

Nice job! I like that saying......more capacity = more motivation...... that would look good in your signature! Plenty of old man's beard hanging in the background. Use it for firestarter?

We will be burning outside more this year. I picked up an outdoor pit and a back porch chimnea. I also plan on bagging some and either selling it locally or using it for one of my kids fundraisers but for now I just keep stacking.

My daughter and son in-law live in Florida, and I've always wondered that when visit.

Ha - haven't tried to split palm tree. The palms burn fast when they drop.
