    I'll bet that water is still a bit on the cool side! I'd have done the same thing.

    It really warmed up here today too and started to get sticky again. Expect the next several day will become air conditioner days again...

    I know Massachusetts reported over 20- 90 deg. days this year, which is way over our average.
    Another 1 or 2 will just feel like business as usual.

    Cool looking swimming hole Zap, I'm sure that same stream down our way would have dried up by now.

    My plans for a dip in the brook never happened today. I took my wife over in Gasifier 's area for an appointment, after that we went for lunch at a spot we've never eaten at and we really liked it, we had a nice view overlooking the St.Lawrence River while we 8.

    Once we got back I started working on getting everything ready for Household Hazardous Waste Day collection coming up that NYS has. This will be our first HHWD since we moved here, it's nice they have it.

    I'll take that dip before summer ends.

    It's good that have that waste turn in. If not, who knows where people would throw it, contaminating the earth. Our high tomorrow expected to be around 82°. It's certainly been warm at 80° the past 2 days. If I went to pa to visit, I would probably die..... weird

    I agree with you Well Seasoned , I think they're well attended. Maybe I could get Gasifier to buy lunch that day or better yet, maybe Mrs. Gasifier would buy. :yes:

    Supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow in the low 70s but the high winds, heavy rain and strong thunderstorm between now and then is of concern. Just took the table umbrellas down.....gonna hold on radar shows it starting in about 30 minutes.
