Hello all was searching up stuff the net last night and found this forum! My family and friends all say I'm obsessed with everything wood so you can imagine my joy to find this forum full of people just like me. My name is Mark I'm from southern Ontario, love being in the bush, felling, bucking, milling, splitting, stacking, organizing my mess, maple syrup of course, heat the house and started to sell firewood now. Just thought I'd introduce myself. Favourite firewood is ash mainly because it makes up 75% of my pile but if I can get my hands on oak, beech, hard maple and black locust I'm happy with that. I run Stihl but have a few older pioneer. Look forward to posting and reading.

Well an introduction is in order, I sometimes say to new members "Welcome from us up here in New England/NH", or something along those lines. But with you, Farmboy707 I get to say, "Those us down south in New England think you have found where you belong". Actually, I'm just speaking for myself, I'm not authorized to speak for all of New England. You can tell your friends and family. It's not just you, there are others.:saw::stacke::axe::fire:

I'll have to take some better pics but if a mess got maybe 7 cord cut and split and another 10 still in the trees from the county getting rid of ash along the road side. I have a nice flat concrete pad that's open to the west which is always windy and drys everything up nicely!
