One thing I never get tired of and always look for first.
Wood stacks and how they're covered - cover material
Wood sheds good bad and ugly, I love them all and learn from the pics

This is something we all share in common and I would love to see lots of pics in one place. This would give ideas to us all without hunting around.

I know we all have different setups and what works for one may not work exactly for another. But I never get tired of everyone's wood setup Both stacks and sheds
    What do you all think?

I'll start with pics from my yard. Most stacks are 4 rows deep or about 8 ft. And I like to go around 6- 7 ft high. I've combined stacks and shed to make portable roofs that I move after the season before I refill with freshly split wood, then recover

Jeeze Dennis, think ya' got enough firewood? WTH ya' gonna' do with all that?  :D
Funny, our trash guy pulled up into the drive on Monday while I was loading the small trailer, and asked if I sold wood.
    I figure that's a sign I'm doing something right.

Been a while since I've posted here. Hope all the regulars are well! I'm about to get back at it tomorrow. I haven't done anything firewood related since May but I have some stacks to finish up. Once it cools down a little I'll be back at it in full force! Been a little hot around here and the 6 month old little dude takes up a lot of time..lol.. My wife isn't returning to work so she can stay home with little dude so I'm working 10 to 14 hours per day as well but I suppose that won't change..lol..

In greatshape wood wise but could boot myself for not finishing up that last stack in the spring. It's 18/19 wood but all I needed to do was bust part of what was on the trailer to finish and cover it. Oh well, lesson learned. That last pic in the back was where I started moving this year's burn first over so I could accommodate the rest of the wood I had to split to keep years in the same stack but it didn't happen. That's what I'm doing tomorrow..lol.. 20160824_183159.jpg 20160824_183236.jpg 20160824_183255.jpg won't be long and mini me can start helping!! 20160824_144028.jpg

    Well those pics are great
Backwoods Savage you inspire us all. Love those stacks new or old!!
Locust Post, Splitsnstacks , milleo , Drvn4wood a lot of work in all of those impressive collections of firewood

Do all of you get a kick out of looking at firewood stacks?
After all the work spent splitting and stacking, there's a lot of satisfaction in a job well done!
It's nice to see others who have done the same work.
I sure got my fix for today thank you all.
