First post here. So my co workers dad had huge oak cut down and need the wood hauled away. So I call my buddy who owns a clam truck and told him I want the wood. Long story short, wood was hauled off, buddy's dad happy,my buddy happy and I'm happy. 2 clam truck loads , the stump was 6 ft across . I started to cut some today,not a good idea with this heat.
Sweet! Hope you got your buddy something very nice. Maybe even some nice cold beer would do in this hot weather. The oak will be great in a couple years.

I wish we could bow hunt on the property. The wood is at my dads place. He has 3, 1 acres lots with house around him and HUGE big fancy Homes behind him.Where Those fancy homes are now, was the farm as a kid. the farmer would let us ice skate. snowmobile,hunt rabbits & birds. At the time we would see a deer every one in a while. Now with the new homes, deer all allover my dads place. They eat up the garden like crazy
Thx anyway-we have big whitetails here in WV-I have bowhunted IL twice, never scored and my best hunt was in Randolph Co..-I have a 400 acre farm-can work out swap hunt if ever possible.......was just yanking your chain-welcome, season that oak and CUT MORE!!!!!
