Yep, had that stove. Very solid heater that will burn anything. Keep all the gaskets in good shape, keep it clean, and provide lots of fresh OUTSIDE air and she'll do a good job. If you have any questions about control panel set-up, I'll relate what I remember.

I did some mods on mine, and some dress-up....here she is (or was):

I had just replaced the "brick" back panel with a new one (summertime), and painted it to look somewhat real. That was the 1st fire after I did it.

There are 2 pellet mills in Maine with Maine in the name of their pellets. Maine Woods Pellet co. and Maine Choice Pellets. The Maine Woods, also known as MWP, are a decent pellet for the price. I burn them a lot. I don't really care for the Maine Choice. Others will tell you the opposite. Try them and others and determine for yourself what you want to burn.

Thanks! Been planning this for 8+ yrs, excited to get this stove up and running. How many tons of pellets does everyone tend to keep lined up for a typical winter?
Many burn kerosene up here along with wood and pellets stoves......

Down here in S. NH (Monadnock region / Cheshire County / 1,500 ft. elevation) we burned:

Oil: 1,180 sq. ft, FHA furnace, 275 gal. oil tank, filled 4/27/15, approx. 40 gals. left when refilled 4/27/2016 ..

    = approx. 20 gals/mo. of #2 fuel oil average 4/27/15 through 4/27/2016.

    Pellets: 56 bags (1.12 tons) on-hand 4/27/15, 187 bags (3.75 tons) purchased through 4/27/2016, 124 bags currently on-hand (2.48 tons) as of 5/1/2016

    = 119 bags (2.39 tons) burned 4/27/15 through 5/1/2016 .

*For comparison vs. prior year: we burned 205 gals. of fuel oil from 12/21/2014 - 4/27/2015, and
120 bags (2.4 tons) of pellets from 12/21/2014 - 4/27/2015.. 12/21/2014 was the 'official' start date of the stove install here.

IOW, we burned the same amount of fuel in the last 5 months of the 14'-15' winter season as we did the entire 15'-16 fall and winter season, that's how much milder the '15-'16 fall/winter season was here..

Anticipating a more 'traditional' New England winter here for the '16-'17 winter season.

We have 2.48 tons on hand currently, and plan to have at least another 2 tons stocked & on-hand by Nov. / Dec. 16 (4.5 - 5 tons total) for our small home, to keep fuel oil costs down to a minimum.

*If you need to burn K1 up there, I imagine pellets would win, even now: every home is different, but our break-even costs were 2.56/gal fuel oil, vs. $7.00/bag sale of pellets, during the 14'-15' season. * With that said, if you need to burn K1 & can swing it, cost is still low - I'd be stocking up on K1 (fuel oil) right now.

1900+ sqft raised ranch. Pellets are sole heat source, Normal temp kept at 72ºF and I use approx. 3.5 tons per season average.

Last season was whimpy and I barely use 3 tons.
