Man, you are gonna be far enough ahead that you could start selling some...I would hafta think that stuff would command a premium $...and a whole lot less work for you than what most firewood sellers have to do!

Welcome to the site BeechNut I will second what LP said about the value of being a few years ahead Number of years ago I had back surgery and I was not years ahead. Wood didn't burn well for a year or two. I just had both hands operated on for carpal tunnel problems and I am about 3 years ahead so it won't be a problem if I don't get back to :saw::axe::stacke: until later this fall or even next spring.

Sorry, couldnt like your post about being ahead because of the city comment. Thats to bad they are on you about your stacks. How much do you have that they would complain about it? Are you one in a few in the area that burn so they have a target on you? I wonder if its regular complaining by a neighbor close by....

Ship me a pallet of those cutoffs and I'll forgive you. :) Another member had access to a bunch of cutoffs a while back and I was green then too. Would love to load up my Fireview with a bunch of those and see how long I could get it to burn. Happy for you! Nice hoard.:salute:

Not excessive at all BeechNut ; as a matter of fact, if you passed on something like this, we would have to start calculating de-merit points!!

With a setup like that I'm sure 4 years is a stretch to dry that oak. Theres no bark and your in an open area with plenty of airflow, my guess is 2 years at best.
Nice hookup with the oak blocks.
