Anybody receive the $25 off / ton flyer if purchased by the end of the month? I think I read that they will hold until November with 25% down on the order. It had Pellets, coal and eco bricks on sale. Gotta make a run past my store and see what they have sitting outside.
just called local TSC....internet said they had stock...girl on phone says no.....order now and they will be in sept.i ask what kind she says dont know but they will be hardwood another big box store circus, buddy got softwoods@TSC in CT a couple weeks ago.......clowns
I guess I have never really understood these flyers.....why dont they tell us what the pellets actually cost?! A $25/ton discount is ridiculous if the product is overpriced in the first place.
Stopped at our local TSC today to see what brands and the girl gave me a stupid look when I asked what brand. I told her she wouldn't pay for a meal at a resturant with out knowing what she was getting! As it was she didnt know what brands and people were lined up behind me, I will have to talk to a manager next week. Gary
Every tractor supply by me Is starting to get a bunch of there generic white bag crap. I dont even care enough to scan it anymore. Its all usually gs, na or drycreek
Down here it's usually Lig's , last year I got T Heats which worked fine for me , don't really need anything any time soon
The mentality about pellets at TSC seems to be a corporate decision. It is just about the same at every TSC I have shopped in. I have had so many other options, I don't go there for my pellets. After last year's glut, I don't know what the pellet options will be like this year. Can't even begin to say which way things will go.
I'm not even looking for pellets (yeah...right) but the TSC in Windham Maine has nearly 100 tons out back in their staging area. At $265 ton, the early buy nets out at $240....I'm good
Yeah, this year nothing would surprise me. I expect a slower year than normal but probably better than last. Just based off oil prices alone. I think us consumers will probably be in a good position.
Oil and gas prices have been dropping so could be good for buyers. I wouldn't order from TSC unless I knew what I was buying. I think they do this knowing pellet buyers are generally aware of the good pellets versus ash-farm pellets and they don't want to get stuck with excess inventory.
Probably pretty accurate representation. Quite a lot of folks just don't care what they are getting. I know you guys joke tongue-in-cheek about all pellets being the same, but for MANY people, that's the case.
I never did go get a price at TSC, But the wife said she was told they were on sale. She rolled her eye at me when I asked if she got the sale price and said "We don't have room for any more pellets"!! Maybe if we chucked some of her stuff out we might...... I thought to myself and did not say it out load!! I think she read my thoughts and I expect a you know what at some point. She'll wait until I least expect it, But I'll get one that I can be sure of!!
