At 6 am I woke to a blast of wind and rain. Had to go to work but snapped a few pics of weekend work...rain gauge got busted but at least no baseball size hail like they had just north of us. 70 mph gusts.
Update......mostly cleaned up but can't show pics as I can't take any. Currently on a borrowed phone from neighbors cuz in the cleanup I managed to smash my phone beyond use. Waiting on the mail to deliver my expensive crush replacement.
Yikes Glad you and yours are OK. So far we have lucked out on bad storms down here. I hope your neighborhood recovers fast.
We are getting pounded this year. Small town east of us last night got hit and hard. Over 200 downed trees. That is more than 1 tree per resident. Wish it weren't a hour through road construction to get there and clean/stock up.
Amazing that we read about these storms and areas of flooding and we can hardly buy a few raindrops. A big rain looked like it was heading our way this morning but it broke up coming across the pond as they so often do. We didn't even get one raindrop.
Just an hour ago the severe weather sirens went nuts and thunder and rain some pea hail. At least this didn't decide to go twister on us.
Wow you are sure getting it up there. Not as wet this year down here as it was last year. I think Northern Colorado could use some of the wet weather right now with all the big wild fires that are going on. To bad about the glass top on the patio furniture that sucks. Glad to hear you have not had any of the big hail. Hope you get some wood out of it all.
