I'm sure it could change but I was watching a video on the Weather Channel that has most of New York State in for a severe weather on Sunday.
With all this hot weather we are having it wouldn't surprise me if we did get some type of storms with wind.
We're at 89 today with some wind, so far any of the heavy rain and wind (30 mph) are staying south and east of us.
We have a Special Weather Statement on for this area, we hit 91 today. A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY... AT 356 PM EDT...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR DEGRASSE... MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH AND DIME SIZE HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS.
I reside in Clinton County NY. Beautiful out until about 2ish. Then it hit all at once. Finished loading 5 face in the dump truck just as it hit. Wind, rain and hail was unreal! Blew over a few trees at camp less than 100ft from where we have our campers parked. It was fun to watch, not so good for my grease in my turkey fryer!
