Finish out the second row, put a few pieces in the kindling box, and don't forget a couple will fit behind the seat in the cab.

That sounds like a great weekend! Enjoy those nights in the adult tent! And I always load up the truck with wood for camping too - just my junk wood and chunks/uglies but I have made money selling it too.

My apologies for not having any pictures from the weekend, but the only technology that I used all weekend was the timer on my phone for the dutch oven. Got plenty of ribbing for how much I brought, but everyone was warm and we did not run out, so I will consider it a win. Even used the fire to make all of my meals, which always amazes "city folk". Cast iron and farwood, forever! :usa:

In IL, you can't even transport fire wood across County lines. I take some Federal Forestry Certified wood with me and a chain saw. Most places let me cut when I get there. I really feel stupid paying $4.99 / bundle when I have 8 cords at home. But I will not be without a fire so I just have to suck it up:hair:

i have not yet brought myself to buying that yuppie saran wrapped camp firewood for camping! you cant carry firewood across state lines here in New England and most places frown on any cutting.

It is really stupid IMO, because they aren't going to stop the spread of decease with these rules. But the law is the law so I try to obey.

They revoked that rule a few months ago in Illinois. Interstate is still restricted but movement within the state is no longer prohibited.
