NH made a record low temp yesterday at 4* in Concord. Oh, and that wasn't just a record low temp for the date - but for the month of April, ever in recorded history. Probably made another record low today, but only for the date.

It was comfortable in the house last night, so left stove off.

Got up this morning to the cat under the covers all snuggled up.

    59 F in the house.

    OMG

CRANKED UP the Big Whit to take off the chill.

Supposed to be near 80 F today and tomorrow.

Way too warm for April me thinks.

    Must be that Global something.

Stove's been off the last 2 days. First day I've open the windows before heading in to work. I'm sure its not over yet, But enjoying the nice weather and not having to fill the beast for now!!

Heard the tinkle of pellets this AM. Cold enough for a frost in the valley. Oh well.

Been off the past few days now.

88 F yesterday, today cooler, but still warm.

The weekend will likely see some stove action again.

April one week, then August for 3 days or so, then April again, whacky weather

The wind is almost constant here. One night the air was still, but mostly it is windy. If you can find a place in the sun and protected from the wind, it is comfortable enough to sit outside. Granted, the wind keeps the bugs away, but it has to warm up some before I'm going to feel like being out for a while.

Been off since last Thursday with the exception of an hour on Sunday after cleaning the vent.

Will use central heat unless we get some below freezing weather and the 10 day forecast shows none of that.

76 here today right now. I am VERY happy cause it will be almost as warm tomorrow -- and tomorrow is -- FISHING DAY

Off for now, Pretty nice out until the sun goes down. And we don't keep the windows open too long. This bag has lasted all week.

Supposed to rain at times tomorrow, So I'll fill the hopper and flip the switch before I go to bed. It will fire if needed in the AM.

We are just heading into the season so we set ours to light at 6AM so when we get up at 7 the house is warm and the stove has cycled down. Just turned off now at 9AM and may relight later in the day before it turns itself off at 9PM before we go to bed. THen the same tomorrow.
As the days get cooler we let it run for more of the day. When it is really cold we get it to start earlier.

Gotta love auto-start and thermostat control:D
